Small Weapon Skills

You have picked up some Tricks for Small Weapons

Small Weapon Tricks

Rather than spending skill points to move up skill levels, You may instead spend skill points to purchase any of the following tricks.

Tactical

Double Tap

You aim and fire twice at the same target.

Cost: 2 Skill points
Maneuver Cost: Passive.
Requires: Tactical Training, Small Class Weapon and a free hand.
Duration: Passive Effect: You fire twice as one Action, deduct two shots and roll a single Attack Roll, if it hits multiply the damage by 1.5. You are considered to be Focusing on your target until the start of your next Turn. You can use this Action more than once however the Boon you grant others to hit you from Focusing until the start of your next Turn stacks for each Action used in this way.

Close Quarters Training

You know how to bring a Gun to a Knife Fight.

Cost: 3 Skill points
Maneuver Cost: Passive
Requires: Tactical Training, Small Class Weapon
Duration: Passive Effect: You do not suffer disadvantage when firing at a target in melee range with a small weapon

Expert

Quick Draw

You small weapon handling skills are second to none. Ok, you heard of one guy 2 quadrants over who might be a little faster than you, but not by much.

Cost: 3 Skill points
Maneuver Cost: Passive Requires: Expert Training, Slug Weapons
Duration: NA Effect:

  • You may Draw two Small weapons as a single Action.
  • You have an advantage against any attempt to disarm you.

Mastery

Rapid Shot

You may spend an action to begin Aiming then a second action to attack.

Cost: 3 Skill Points.
Maneuver Cost: 2+ Actions.
Requires: Mastery Training, Small Class Weapon with the Reloading Property. Effect:

  • The Character gains a consecutive Boon (+2) to Hit and Damage for each Action after the first to a maximum of +10. i.e +2, +4, +6.
  • This Boon is lost as soon as the character misses the Target, Moves or takes an action that is not firing at the target.
  • The Characters AC is Double Baned until they Move.
  • The character cannot benefit from more than 1/2 Cover.
