<Cybercore>

You've been around raiders, pirates, or other people who operate on the fringes of legal space travel long enough to have picked up some basic knowledge about their lifestyle and methods. Maybe you grew up in a family involved with privateering, or you just spent time around the kind of places where such people congregate.

You're not some feared pirate captain terrorizing shipping lanes, but you know enough about the raider lifestyle to understand their methods and mentality. Whether through family connections or just being around the right (or wrong) kind of people, you've absorbed some knowledge about operating outside normal legal boundaries.

As someone with a passing familiarity with the Corsair legacy, you've likely spent some time in the shadows of space, smuggling goods, taking on mercenary missions, or perhaps even plundering the occasional interstellar vessel. While you may not be a full-fledged space pirate, you know your way around a spacecraft and are comfortable operating in the darker corners of the galaxy.

Knacks and Quirks

Knacks

Space Navigation

The Belt Route doesn't show up on any official nav chart because officially it doesn't exist. You learned the route from a pilot who was missing two fingers and had a theory about "acceptable risk tolerances" that would make an actuary weep.

Rapid Reaction

Boarding actions don't come with countdown timers. One second you're matching velocity, the next the hull charges fire and you're through the breach with six seconds to establish control. Hesitation in that window means taking fire in a pressurised corridor. You move first, assess mid-stride, and commit before the adrenaline finishes hitting.

Boarding Specialist

Every ship class has a soft spot. You know where to cut, where to blow, and where to just lean hard. You've studied the schematics of more ship classes than most shipyard workers, and you study them for exactly the opposite reason.

Intimidating Presence

The scar across your jaw came from a boarding that went sideways on a FOFT freighter near the Tethys corridor. The crew saw you come through the breach and three of them surrendered before you said a word. The fourth tried something. The scar is from the fourth.
